045: Christmas with Cigars and Sea StoriesDecember 24, 2015 by Cigars and Sea Stories | 2 Comments
The team shares sea stories of Christmas abroad. Some dressed up like st. nick and delivered presents. Others garland a tree with links of ammo. From Christmas on ship to O.P.s in Egypt, the team has some crazy sea stories.
Anyone who has been deployed during the holidays knows the feeling of commiseration that takes place. It’s a time when the camaraderie of the military shines through. Sometimes the holidays are barely acknowledged. Another day of the week. Too busy operating to notice. Other times it is a waypoint in the middle of a long stretch. Something to look forward to.
Our friends in uniform are downrange right now celebrating Christmas. We thank them for their service. We wish the very best to their family and friends. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
