He’s the co-founder of the Ronin Refugee Project – a nonprofit organization which supports allies who became refugees. He produced The Captain’s Story on National Geographic to highlight the struggles of America’s wartime allies.
“The Ronin Refugee Project is a veteran founded organization dedicated to helping wartime allies from Iraq and Afghanistan who have displayed valor and friendship toward the American military. While overseas, our success, and indeed our lives, depended on our foreign warrior-brothers. We seek to honor their courage and stay true to our commitment.” –Ronin Refugee Project
