Generational differences between Marine veterans has been discussed since there was an old Corps. On this episode of Cigars and Sea Stories, Mike and Bennett talk about the Vietnam era gear sprinkled throughout the Corps. The tri-color vs. digital cammis. Boots that no longer need to be shined.
The Marine Corps has generational differences wars conflicts. Every evolution of the Corp has a sea story.
Generational change is expected, the key to our Corps’s success has been culture. The traditions we share is the fabric of our brotherhood. Even with generational differences it come down to on basis premise your a Marine. Once a Marine always a Marine, that has never changed and never will, Semper Fidelis.
All things different, I don’t know any Marine that still likes chicken cacciatore.
