Ben Loth, Navy Corpsman

On this episode of Cigars and Sea Stories, the team welcomes Ben Loth, Navy corpsman veteran, to the show.

Ben is a Southern California Native. He joined the Navy out of Los Angeles then went to corps school and Bootcamp in Great Lakes. During the summer of 2007 Ben went to FMTB: field medic training battalion school on Camp Pendleton. His first duty station was Edson range/Crucible. While at Edson he volunteered to go on a deployment that turned out to be the 15th Meu with 2/5. – Lots of fun –

After Edson, he Did another Deployment to Djibouti Africa then ended up going to 1STmardiv 1/5 on Pendleton. He deployed to Sangin Afghanistan as a Police Advisor Corpsman in PAT3, ended that tour and went to Headquarters Battallion 1STMardiv.

Where he was stuck dealing with and immense amount of Pogery. He wrapped up his time in the Navy doing paper pushing and running Physicals.

At 5.5 years in the Navy, Ben left with a CAR, FMF and EXW pin as a 3rd Class/E-4. Now he’s an IT guy working on Servers for an Internet Company named Namecheap.com. Ben currently resides in Phoenix with my wife and kid.
