On this episode of Cigars and Sea Stories. Bennett and Mike discuss Moving Day. Packing up all of your worldly possessions and hitting the road. Whether you’re doing a ‘ditty’ move or paying a company to pack your stuff, moving sucks; It can suck? a lot. Every transition is a trial in patience. After about a dozen or so times you start to get the hang of it. These Marines have over 40 moves between them and it’s clear they’ve got it down to a science. Also there is a disclaimer I (Bennett) stated that you can change your “Home of Record” (HOR) while in the military. That is untrue! “Home of Record” can only be changed if there is a break in service of more than one day, or to correct an error. I had it confused with “State of Residency” (SOR).
