This episode of Cigars and Sea Stories is all about skin art, ink, getting tatted up. Tattoos a Marine tradition. Frankly, tattoos are a tradition throughout the military, but especially the Marine Corps. Mike and Bennett each have a significant piece of art that is wholly Marine. Bennett with his Devil Dog and Mike with the EGA. In the past tattoos were believed to be a sign of filth. Disgusting tattoo parlors cranked out generic, poorly done, pieces of ink that could hardly be claimed as art. Things have come a long way since the hepatitis laden days of yor. Tattoos are more common than piercings these days. Appearances may be deceiving. ¬†Keeping it professional means knowing your business and adding VALUE. When you send killers into battle you wanna be damn sure their hardcore muthatruckas. A true sign of badassery and commitment to the cause is a solid patriotic display of ink. ¬†You’ll find a couple of examples below.
