Down Range Tobacco
Life in the military can be extraordinarily stressful. For many, their only reprieve is nicotine. Getting it is the hard part. In hard to reach areas, troops are lucky to get any PX privileges at all. Mobile PXs are hauled around to distant outposts. The first stuff to go is always tobacco products. Cigarettes, dip, chewing tobacco and cigars are the most frequently used. The guys have plenty of sea stories about smoking and joking behind the hooch. Bennett shares his pogey bait secrets on how to stay stocked with cigarettes and tells the tale of the Recon Gunny who smoked during PT runs. Mike takes “Virginia Slims” to the field for those less fortunate Marines and talks Afghan “Swique” dip, which is a mixture of some heinous sh!t.
