Counter Strike Coffee Review

Counter Strike Coffee

Ok! So I love coffee, I’ve tried coffee from all over the world. I’ve actually had coffee in some of the famous coffee countries, prepared in traditional ways and it just speaks to me. Whether you use a regular coffee maker, French press, pour over or prepare it the traditional Turkish way you can’t brew away the flavor of bad coffee. Now let me put it out there I may be a coffee lover I am no expert of coffee albeit I do know more than your average bear. With all that said us here at Cigars & Sea-Stories do have a financial interest in Counter Strike Coffee but we don’t promote products we don’t use and love ourselves. So here it goes!

Counter Strike Coffee is a combat veteran owned business. The CEO and founder Brandon and the founding of CSC as described on the Counter Strike website

Brandon is a 10 year Combat Veteran from Houston, Texas and is now producing a brand new line of outstanding coffee that reflects some of the experiences individuals have while serving this great country of ours. Veterans, Active Duty Military, L.E.O.’s, Public Safety and Military supporters alike will be able to enjoy the animated depictions of each roast while consuming the best damn coffee they have ever had.  The idea came to him while teaching his field to urban medical integration class. “I provide coffee for my classes and have a donation bucket. There were always a lot of contributors there, so I figured that there is a huge market there.”  Brandon reflected on his time in the service when coffee was held in high regard just to be able to function. He knew that if he designed a military/veteran friendly coffee brand that he could have some serious customers, but that’s not all. “All of the proceeds go back into the company with a portion being donated to charitable veterans organizations”

Coffee Offerings

Napalm What is left over when Napalm is deployed?  Blackness! That is what this coffee is all about.  Napalm is a Brazilian Arabica that creates the perfect dark roasted coffee.  There is nothing like the smell of Napalm in the morning.  If you miss the manly military mug of awesomeness that was brewed out on post, then you need this in your life.

This is the favorite roast of our very own Michael Penney. It is a great roast and reminds me of the kinds of coffee I had in Italy and Bosnia. It has a strong smoky finish that I really like and made with my French press it is fantastic. I don’t drink it everyday but I do drink it at least once a week.

Smooth Operator For those of you that want the taste of coffee to resemble the war fighting tactics of a combat hero; Smooth Operator is the coffee for you.  This fine cup of combat juice is as dark as the shadows you stalk in, and as smooth as the movements made on target.  Don’t let the name fool you, for as smooth as the taste is, the stimulating effects is fast and on point.

This roast is my everyday drinking coffee! I drink this every weekday as my first cup of coffee as does my wife since my French press makes two full servings; I drink it black and unadulterated by any additives, it brightens up my morning. It is the most mild of all the offerings from CSC, but is darker than most conventional coffee on the market. This is also C&S team member Tim Parkhurst’s favorite.

Fire WatchIf you don’t plan on quitting your post until properly relieved, you may need to get yourself a hot cup of Fire Watch in order to keep those little peepers open. This caffeine loaded canteen cup of goodness will get your freedom blood pumping in order to keep always on the alert and observing everything that takes place within sight or hearing.

I find Fire Watch as a very smooth drinking experience. Love how it has just a slight bite on the finish just to let you know it’s on the darker roast side. I’d put it right between Napalm and Smooth Operator. This is C&S’s content manager and show director Sebastian Juslin’s favorite.

Never Quit!Prepare your senses for an assault to your taste buds with a flavored coffee that was made to benefit the Lone Survivor Foundation. We have decided to bring you a great tasting vanilla, rum, caramel, Irish cream, and a hint of chocolate (non-alcoholic) coffee that will contribute 25% of sales from each bag to the Lone Survivor Foundation. This bag reflects on the foundations goal to restore, empower & renew hope for our wounded service members and their families through health, wellness and therapeutic support. “NEVER QUIT”

The Lone Survivor Foundation is a Federal 501(c) 3 Non-Profit Founded in 2010 by Navy SEAL (Ret.) Marcus Luttrell

I have not tried this coffee and therefore cannot give it a personal review but I have heard it is very good. I look forward to trying it in the future.

In closing CSC puts out a great product that in every sense of the word is a premium product; the company is also run by great people who truly care about the country and their community. They also offer great gear including shirts, patches, mugs and more, remember the circle game? If you enjoy coffee and long for a great coffee experience Counter Strike coffee is a fantastic choice.
